Polished specializes in high-quality nail health, offering modern treatments such as Dazzle Dry—a revolutionary four-step system that dries in five minutes—and Gel-X extensions that prioritize the integrity of the natural nail. The salon also provides "Structured Gel" as a healthier alternative to traditional dip powder and acrylics. Their extensive pedicure menu includes the highly requested Mermaid pedicure and specialized aromatherapy treatments, ensuring comprehensive foot care.

In addition to nail care, Polished provides a wide range of advanced esthetic treatments. The primary goals of our Salon-Level System are to provide a career path of growth and achievement for team members and to offer several options for our guests to meet their diverse needs when it comes to salon services. Guests may choose the best fit from our team that complements their requests, from skill set to education and budget. Our website reflects the level two pricing. The salon level system is a performance-based career path that categorizes stylists based on their experience, technical proficiency, and the demand for their time, allowing clients to choose services that align with their specific budget and hair care needs.

Level 1 Team members are developing their skills and knowledge beyond their schooling for licensure. Once the service providers build a steady clientele, as well as other techniques and additional services, they are promoted to the next level. The owner checks all the work.

Level 2 Team members have developed their knowledge, techniques, and application skills to provide clinical results. This individual has gone through additional training and certifications.

Level 3 Team members are advanced in all aspects of their skills. They are certified specialists and help train and mentor new team members.

Owner, Esthetician, Nail care specialist

Nail care and skin care have always been Robin’s passion. Combined with a background in customer service and management, she founded Polished in 1998. Business operations provide her the ability to do what she loves every day.

As a dual licensed nail tech and esthetician, she has been able to apply her experience and training toward building and growing Polished on Pleasant. It is her and her team’s goal to ensure that every client leaves feeling happy, relaxed, and enriched by their experience.

Over the years she has continued to research and introduce new modalities of relaxation, stress relief and her own products to Polished on Pleasant. She believes that ongoing education, training and new challenges are vital for personal and professional success.

Shannon S

Manager, Lead Esthetician

With ten years of experience in the beauty industry, Shannon is dedicated to providing each client with personalized service. She aims to help them look and feel their most beautiful self through education, treatments, and healing using holistic and esthetic remedies.

She is an MA Licensed Esthetician with additional training and certifications in Nutritional skincare, Acne treatments, Chemical peels, Dermaplaning, Gua Sha, and Lymphatic massage. She is also trained in Reiki healing and continues to update her extensive training in numerous professional product lines and techniques.

As an inspirational, motivational mentor, she guides and encourages her clients to embrace a healthy lifestyle and balance in their skincare.

Torrie has over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, offering expert services as an Esthetician and Nail Technician. She is multifaceted in esthetic treatments and specializes in tailored facials, waxing, and total skincare.

She is certified in dermaplaning and micro-needling and is dedicated to expanding her deep knowledge and understanding of the skin.

Her passion is helping clients achieve their desired look using innovative techniques and professional products. She focuses on providing customized services to each client, giving them an optimal experience.

She has been practicing nursing for 18 years and graduated from Salem State with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2005 & continued to pursue a Masters in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions, graduating in 2015.
